June 2007 : DA plan re-lodge for Cairns Global Tower

After much consultation with the Cairns City Council, Capital Globe has submitted a new design of Cairns Global Towers for development application approval. According to Mr Shaquil Haque, Director of Capital Globe Limited the new design will become one of the most iconic buildings for the Northern Queensland Region and will set a new benchmark for this region.
Mr Haque has indicated that there is already a strong interest from multi-national corporations in wanting to take up commercial space in Cairns grade A office buildings.
Capital Globe is still aiming to complete the building in 2011.

May 2007 : Site 5 Settlement

CG is proud to announce the acquisition of another strategic site in the Cairns Cultural Precinct. This is the second acquisition in this precinct and completes Capital Globe's long term focus in developing the two sites to create a nice master plan for this high profile hub.
The site is approximately 5300m2 in size and CG is proposing to build a serviced apartment complex to service the influx of business travelers and tourists which has been highly popular for many years.
